Yes, I wondered whether that's what they were saying - quoting a time and price assuming that they did not do the ('necessary') 'plastering or re-decorating' (which is, of course, what at least some customers would probably want)!

It's an odd claim, for sure.

I did rewire the lighting of a house in Birmingham where the elderly lady was terrified I'd have to pull things apart. Happily, I could fish everything through so there was minimal damage. But even then, I had to nibble some plaster away where the capping fell short of the switch boxes and there was a bit of trunking for the water bonding.

I did a google for wireless socket, got this but seem to remember Tesla doing experiments with wireless power, so nothing new.

The quickest rewire I did for a whole property took me 4 days
+this was done by 3 people

A house every 2.5 days by two sparks, rewiring council houses in the 80s

Can't see how you can guarantee no trunking or redecorating if there are no old concealed conduit switch drops.
