Rebate cutter set?

I see what you mean :) And.. i guess you'd use the same described method to get the correct height/depth with the bearing cutter? Also.. i have the fine height adjuster with the trend router i picked up. The tumbler has 3 preset depths. Would you normally expect to reach a desired dpeth by combination of one of those settings plus adjuster.. or is it probable you'd need to adjust the tumblers themselves first.. for common cuts?

the steps in my opinion on 3 step"turrets /tumblers" are of limmited use as the maximum you can cut with a cutter is half the cutter shank as depth so on a 12mm shank thats 6mm maybe push 8mm
the steps are greater than 6mm so not shure what use they are i am not shure if you could set them at 6mm intervals !!!

Hmn.. i see.. well i guess i'm gonna learn most by just getting on and using tthe thing! Aside though, had a look and see i have 3 tct rabetters in my set, so if i could just source a few diff bearings i'd multiply my options. If i take some measurements and/or photo.. think you'd be able to point me in the right direction of alternates.. or are the differences between these things too slight.. i.e same fitting but fractional differences in diameter?

you need to find out of its a metric cutter or an imperial cutter
in imperial it will be in steps of1/8[3.2] per bearing giving a 1.6mm increase in rebate for each step in reduced bearings

The ones I have are imperial.. but i referred more to the interchangeability of bearings with different cutters, as you seemed to say before not all might fit?
