We have a detached garage. No electric available.

Would it be possible to run a ELV ( Extra Low Voltage ) cable to the garage. If so then a 12 Volt battery in the garage could be trickled charged from a 13 Volt power supply in the house.

Using ELV means the installation route and method of installation is not restricted to the safety requirements of a mains voltage installation
