I have a Heatline Capriz he 25 boiler in a rented house and its causing me nothing but grief. t has BG Homecare on it but it keep getting faults like leaking valves. Bg engineer told me the boiler vibrates alot and this is what make the valves come loose. Not sure how true this is ?

Anyway can anyone recommend a decent boiler for a rented house at a decent price and a good 5 yr guarantee or more if possible ?

Thanks[/b]

Vaillant ecotec plus. You could get 7 yr warranty on them if you get the right installer. I know they are not cheap, but you get what you pay for

Thanks for reply, I will have a look at those. What is a Baxi like ? Also is there a possibility that the vibration of a boiler could loosen a nut on boiler underneath. As I cant believe this and this is what BG engineer said but I had a repair done on a valve, and they had to take two valves out to get at this one. So looks like he never nipped it all the way up ?

Deciding on the Baxi duotec or Baxi Platinum as these have now got 10 year guarantees so it will save me on BG homecare. Looking at the slightly cheaper model as it for a rented property. can anyone tell me the difference between the two ?
