red nose day is just a rip off. why the hell do we have to give money. I believe that millionaires all over the world should donate to charity. If and when that happens it will be the end of poverty in those countries. job done.

I believe that millionares in this country pay 50% tax, hence why they all bugger off to other countries. But this tax revenue isn't paid to charity, the Government use it for their wages etc..so why would the rich pay to charity? Only to get a peerage? Corruption in the making.

ok, lets get this into perspective....

According to the Sunday Times last Sunday, there are over 600,000 millionares in England[?] and approx, 120 new ones EVERY DAY !!!!

So if we taxed the millionares, say £3 per week,,,,

600000 x 3 x 52 = £93.6m (that £19m more than red nose day!!!)

Hmmm!!!

So lets say the average millionaire has 5mill..... and they get 3% interest on their assets.. then :

5000000 / 100 x 3 = £150000 per year or £2885 interest per week..... if we asked for £300 instead of £3 ... we get £9billion pounds a year in charity off of the rich people !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We wouldn't need to pay stars to work for red nose day... or hire helicopters to get them to remote Kenyan villages, or pay for accommadation for half a dozen crew for a week, etc etc etc ..

it's madness..

Apparently young foreign millionaires are heading to London due to 'cushy' non-domocile tax arrangements !!!!
