They took a right hammering today and the flags in the street have soon come down!

I don't think England knew what had hit them today as they were very poor and allowed the Germans to play with a free hand in the goal area.

England's defence were ripped apart by the Germans on the break.
Instead of running towards the player with the ball, far too often the England defenders were backing off, allowing the German players ever nearer the goalmouth.
Very poor performance by the English defenders.
