Relaxing of Planning Permission and Party Wall notice

I want to widen my garage , as you approach the double garage doors the left hand wall which runs the length of the garage is deemed a party wall , there is nothing attached to this wall on my neighbours side. They used to have a garage there but pulled it down. The right hand wall which runs the length of the garage i want to knock down and rebuild about a foot furthur into my garden.

Do i still have to issue a party wall notice under these new relaxed planning permissions ?? Thank you

Planning permission and the the Party wall Act are completely different.

If the PW Act applies, you should follow it. Unless you choose not to
