I'm using Blue Iris for recording management - $59 for multi camera support & it takes care of a lot of the routine tasks for you like archiving clips & managing archive folder sizes etc. granted, i could do this myself with scheduled tasks & suchlike but whilst its sometimes fun to tinker, sometimes all you're doing is re-inventing the wheel! for the sake of it!
