Remove alarm - Panel Marked ZX 901

What batteries the one in the panel or the one in the bellbox ? You will either have to disconnect the panel battery and see if the bellbox has a cut off ( 15/20)mins or get ladders out and disconnect the battery in the bellbox

No ladders, if it goes off will see if the neighbours have one I can borrow.

If I disconnect the main battery the bell does ring, have turned the bell timer down as far as possible but with babies in the house I am not allowed to let it ring…….

At least I have stripped the sensors out so can get on with the decorating.

Documents in case anyone else finds one

That bell timer has nothing to do with a power cut ….hope you have left the 240v supply on ….or you might be up in the middle of the night

As I read the instructions the bell timer is how long the bell rings for.

Put the fuse back in a couple of hours ago so we don’t have a disturbed night.

If you power down the panel …..how is it going to control a bell timer ? Post picture of external bellbox

Maybe not but there is a bell timer on the panel. You think the bell will run until the battery dies if the panel is disconnected?
