I hired a contractor to install an outdoor patio. It is a beautiful tile called Fossil stone. He said it is a form of slate but from what I can tell I think it is a form of sandstone. Anyways, after the job was done I noticed there was a lot of dust etc on the tiles. I thought it was from all of the cutting but in actuality it seems that they just did a really bad job cleaning the grout off after it was installed. Now I need to get it cleaned up properly so I can seal it. I've heard of Sulfumic Acid, but I have also heard that acids can stain natural stone. Anyone know if this is a safe option? I've also heard I should try vinegar and water. Anyone done this? any other suggestions? Thanks!

if cement based grout used ...all abrasive cleaning detergents should be avoided ...!!!!
their is a cleaner called FILA but as your in the US you may need to ask in your local tile store for a cleaner there
