No earths on the lighting circuit in my flat at all. I've replaced the switch and ceiling light in the kitchen, pull switch in the bathroom, switch in the hall and ceiling light in the bedroom. No earths. The kitchen ceiling wires were not even colour coded, it is an old building. I'm aware earths are good but I do not believe it is likely to be fatal without them. And I cannot afford to get a rewire.Get three triple wagos 222, marking the conductors you are transferring over helps in remembering which wago they go into. Have you got an earth in the existing rose because the new fitting looks metallic.
