Notch the pump unions and tap them un-done with a large flat-head and a lump hammer. You cant grip them with a 'wrench'. You'll squeeze them and they cannot move. This is why its best to use a plumber as you have cost yourself more money in the damage you've done by forcing the unions and tearing copper. You'll have to remove the aerjec and re-pipe it. Putty is not how you fix stuff.
