Replacement quick clamp handles

I am not sure if what I am putting into a search engine is the correct term as I am not getting anything close to what I am after.

I have some okay clamps cheap but do what I need them to. I think due to them being cheap, I have broken one of the handles but it’s useable as I have drilled and bolted the handle so it works. I don’t know how much longer this will work for. Another complaint is the handles are on “backwards”… you should see the difference between one with a backwards handle and one I would say is correct.

the stops come off and go on either end - one way is a Clamp , the other a stretcher , i have used to keep / push things apart before

I've never seen the handles available separately. If it's a cheap clamp, just buy another.
Or spend extra and get the one in the bottom photo, I've been using mine for years without issue.

I'm not sure what you're asking? Are you looking for replacement handles for the crappy clamps? If so just invest in some Irwins instead.

if they don’t sell or produce any handle replacements that’s fine, I will just keep on the way I am now until the broken one fully breaks so it will be unusable and unrepairable.

It’s a shame you can’t buy the simple bits to tools, so they end up getting chucked away.

having purchased Lidls , Wickes and various other peoples clamps - I purchased a couple of large Irwin Extra at a show, 50% off - and the difference was increadable
So i wanted some smaller clamps - 6",12" & 18" size and carried on using the Lidl/wickes versions until screwfix had an very good offer , cant remember the details but purchased 8 in total and dont use anything else now - infact had a issue recenlty and needed to clamp up a MDF type material with wood hardener etc and these clamps where the only ones to give enough pressure

just a point of few from a DIYer , wish i had not wasted the money on the cheaper clamps in the past

I would look to buy the Irwin ones when they're on offer. Wickes had some on a silly offer a while back, I'm pretty sure it must have been an error but I didn't mind!

As you have now discovered, Silverline products are junk and should never be purchased or used for anything ever. 100% guaranteed to fail on the first use. Sometimes even before that.

I've chucked away 3 Aldi jobs this week - they all break at the top of the handle.

Yep, can't go wrong with Irwin, assuming he 300mm are big enough for your everyday needs ....

I do have two 1m Lidl clamps, they seem fine so far and are pretty robust but I use them so infrequently there's no way I could justify the Irwin equivalents.

Yep, can't go wrong with Irwin,

I can probably second that as I've got some Vise-Grip Quick Grip clamps which date from before American Tool Companies changed their name to Irwin.

Apart from having lost one of the soft rubber pieces from one of them (possibly when using them to tension a chain-link fence ) they are going strong.
