4000 K is now my preferred Colour Temperature.

2700 K (to me) is a Sickly Yellow

3000 K is just OK - sometimes.

Having purchased the JCC Fireguards, I now need to select the bulbs. I am looking at the toolstation range and nothing comes anywhere near 4000 lumens, which I think is the light of my current unit. I am looking for something similar, in light terms. What bulbs (in cool white) would I need to achieve a similar output please?

You mean 4000 K - which is a WHITE Colour Temperature.

5000 K would be Cool White
6000 K would be Daylight
3000 K would be Warm White

620 Lumens is approximately the brightness of an efficient 60 W Incandescent Lamp.

And why is the eBay seller saying "With a bulb wattage of 50 W" when the box says 3.6W? (BTW -a 50W LED would put out about 4000lm)

In the UK and North America,
it seems to be the PRACTICE to state a "Wattage", which is actually the Wattage of an Incandescent Lamp of equivalent Brightness.
In other words - an Incandescent Wattage Equivalent - although the word Equivalent is often omitted - or in very small type.
