During the floods this weekend (Storm Bert) I was bolting my flood barrier to my door frame but I applied too much torque on one bolt, causing the insert nut to come loose. Being loose, it now can't maintain a watertight seal. I should only have done the bolt hand tight - but its funny how stressed you can get when the water is rising.
What would be the best way to fit the insert nut back into the same drilled hole in the wood so that it is secure? It's not an option to drill at a different height, it has to be the existing hole (although it could be filled and re-drilled if necessary).
