I'm hoping to replace a set of ceiling downlights in my bathroom and hope someone can provide me with some guidance as I don't have much expertise in matters electrical.
The ones I currently have are these bog-standard halogen ones from Wickes:

I'm looking at some Flameguard ones as replacements:

Would these be a suitable replacement? I believe they, like the Wickes ones, do not require a transformer - is that correct?
Also, would it be straightforward to do the electrical work required? As I said, I'm no expert though I have done some simple DIY with lighting.
Thanks for any help.
