Hello,
Im planning on replacing my old built in oven with a new one. I currently have a ceramic hob (5.8kw) and the current double oven (4.07kw). They are both connected to a junction box behind the kitchen units which is then connected to the standard oven and single plug unit on the wall. This then connects to a 45amp MCB. Im hoping to replace the oven with a Neff which is 4.9kw and to also keep the current hob. Is the 45amp MCB too much or too little for running both the hob and oven? After reading various forums some seem to suggest 32amp is fine and others 45amp. Im just trying to avoid any unexpected problems when I get the oven installed.
Many thanks for your help,
Glyn
