I'm wanting to replace my room thermostat which is located in my hall. It is a Boss Therm Mk1.
I have a vented combi boiler with a timeclock in my cellar with the time clock set to ON 24/7.
I have been using the room stat to basically turn the heating ON/OFF. Lately it hasn't been switching OFF (can't hear the stat click off, think it is stuck ON).
So, I tried purchasing a replacement but the stat had been replaced by the Boss Therm MK2.
Before, I damage something I hoping somebody can help and confirm the wiring.
My original stat had :
Pin 1 = red wire
Pin 2 = black wire
Pin 3 = empty
Earth = earth wire
The MK2 has a Live pin and a Y1 and Y2 (no earth)
Any help would be appreciated.
