Require help!!

the problem is that the original drawing allows lev1 and lev2 to start whilst individually starting nuaire but a design flaw meant that just pressing one stop button did not drop the related contactor..only pressing both stops together would de-energise the contactors.

Your drawing works in the same way as r1riders.

Oh no it doesn't :p

Both look to operate in the same way to me.

Start either or both Lev1 and Lev2, NVAIRE also energises.
Press Lev1 stop, Lev1 drops out opening the Lev1 contact feeding NVAIRE.
Lev2 still energised so NVAIRE still energised.
Press Lev2 stop, Lev2 drops out opening the Lev2 contact feeding NVAIRE thus dropping out NVAIRE assuming Lev1 hasn't been restarted.

Sparky123 ..lev1 and lev2 are both the contactors for extract fans in a small room ...nuaire is a supply air contactor used to return warm air and equalise pressure in the room. this is in a specialised room for the raf.

With the OPs original drawing both stop buttons needed to be pressed to drop all 3 contactors out (if all 3 were in)
With my drawing, pressing one stop button dropped out the corresponding contactor.
(I work with a fair bit of motor controls btw)

the problem gary is that a backfeed from the remaining energised contactor is stopping the contactor you are trying to drop out from doing so.

Are they 3 phase? You may need to use aux blocks to provide enough contacts if they are.

Spark123...i would like to thank you for your help..you gave me the nudge in the right direction to feel confident with this mod...i used to build control panels in another life many years ago and have a good grounding as such..still it surprised me how looking at this circuit at the end of the day...the answer just eluded me. I would like to thank all of you for replying...enough kissass...lol
