Ridge and Hip Tile Quote

Thank all for your replies. Now seen a couple of roofers and have been offered different opinions of what to do:

1. Ventilated ridge and hips (all dry)
2. Ventilated ridge and wet hips.

I definitely want to go with a ventilated ridge.

Appreciate opinions on what is the right way to go?

Properly fitted wet ridge and hips with mechanical fixings . Imo is best. How ever the guys offering wet hips and vented ridge sound ok, based on the fact you have a non breathable felt a bit of venting is never bad.
Which ever you choose screw fixing everything.
How were the quotes compared to the 7000

A ventilated ridge and hip on a roof that is not otherwise ventilated, or designed to be ventilated, offers no benefit.

No eaves/ soffit vents and those dormers = no through ventilation anyway.

Type 1f felt , ridge venting is always a plus.
Warm moist air rises .
But I'd bed them all
