Hi all, I am looking for some views on what has caused these ridge tiles to get damaged and what the solutions are? The tiles are less that 9 months old

Thanks in advance.

I don't believe I see ridge tile damage - I may be wrong, but it looks to me as if the sticky edge of the ridge roll has become unstuck from the tiles?
Is there any chance of a better photo, i.e. using a long selfie stick?

Agree; strong winds have lifted the ridge roll I'd say. Climb up there and shape it back down/do a more concerted effort that the original roofers did in adhering it to the tiles.

If it was fitted in winter, low temperatures may have limited the adhesive performance; try warming the tiles and adhesive with a heat gun as you go

If you find the tiles are particularly difficult to get a good bond to, eg because they're very rough/coarse surfaced, you might need to try some other form of adhesive such as a foam tape or mastic.

As @robinbanks says, for a DIY fix, also ensure that the tiles are cleaned of any muck and are dry first.
But, as the tiles are only 9 months old, there is good cause to try and get the original roofers back to remediate.

I have contacted original roofers. Crossing my fingers they show up tomorrow as promised to remediate. Job was done in June which had warm weather. Thanks for the suggestions for better adhesive
