Muslims on the whole turned to the labour party when voting in elections. Labour like they did with the working man took their vote for granted. Brexit saw the working man turn to the conservative to get Brexit through, fine lot of good that did them so they're left with going back to labour or vote reform or a an independent mp.
The Muslims are catching up and can see their vote taken for granted as labour and Tories are two cheeks of the same arse having their strings pulled by outside influences.
The recent events in Garza have brought things to a head and left them exploring other avenue's to gain their own 'power the obvious way to go would be to get your own mps into parliament to represent you.

If you want to argue Rochdale were so clueless they thought Labour was still a voting option, then that means the result is totalky meaningless as the people of Rochdale were so clueless they didn’t who they were voting for.

The truth is the people of Rochdale knew very well there was no Labour candidate and that’s why Labour got so few votes.
