Of course , the pitch is wrong . You can't expect a decent roofer to tile that as it is.
There are ways of using tiles below pitch but not just new felt , batten then tiles .

Less than 10 degrees is classed as a flat roof. Easy enough for you to work out the roof pitch if the extension is against a brick or block wall. Measure one brick/block and mortar courses that you can get at, look at the roof, count how many rows higher the ridge is than the eaves, count how many horizontal bricks there are from eaves to ridge. Insert numbers, get your tangent tables out, done.
