The EPQ flashing kit from Velux can only be used for standing seam roofs with a 15 degrees pitch or higher.

If my standing seam roof has a lower pitch (ie 6 degrees only), does this mean I need to create an upstand and weld the flashing?

Or are there more appropriate rooflights that can be installed on low pitch standing seam roofs? (struggling to find adequate flashing for metal roofs)

Thanks!

6 degrees is a flat roof. Standing seam is specialist stuff. Yours would require a kerb upstand. Is this a retro' fit into an existing roof or is it being built into a new roof?

There used to be a fella on here Hardmetalking, that knew his onions...?

You would use a rooflight designed for the pitch, either the rooflight will come with a suitable metal upstand or the roofing fabricator will supply one. It just needs to be detailed correctly rather than making it up as you go along.
