Hi All.
Ive bought a nest thermostat and was just reading about the opentherm which seems like its much smarter then the dumb on off stuff in that it prevents over shoot of room temp by telling the boiler what temp to cook the water to. Sounds great.
However, I have two zones on my system which are 'separated' via a electric actuating valve. The UFH stat calls the boiler, boiler runs, floor gets warm valve stays shut. Room stat calls boiler, valve opens and rads get warm blah blah.
Now im wondering if I change the room stat to be opentherm controlled rather than on/off is it going to confuse the boiler when both stats are calling.
What would be the best thing to do?
Thanks
