Everyone forgets 1978 when Scotland went out, Having beat The Netherlands 3-2.
Now that was a match worth watching.

Scotland were also the only unbeaten team in the 1974 finals but went out in the group stages.

Last magic bean .
England have only qualified for 1 more world cup than Scotland
then 1 for being hosts and the 1 because of a nice little backhander to a russian.
So thats a far better record than Scotland

I wont mention european championships cause we are really pish as far as that is concerned
