Rooney had potential, but his personal life has let him down, so it's media spotlight to see where he messes up next, and he always does.

Giggs - delivers week in week out, I don't see anything about his personal life in the media, I presume he's married, but I don't know who to.

All it takes is one serious injury to Rooney, and he will become the new Michael Owen, once great, now in the shadows. And Rooney isn't getting younger.

Vidic, Rooney, Barton, Deouf(sp?), Shearer (in his day), Cantona, and many others should have been banned from the sport, years ago, they are just thugs, on, and off the field.

Maybe your one of those who’s life is dictated by football & think that it should be everyone’s ambition but I played because I enjoyed it, being successful at it even in amateur league was never part of my game plan. Well said Richard, what Spacecat cant see that nobody is really bothered whether Rooney is good bad or indifferent as a footballer its just that he represents all that is wrong with footballers today in this country, overrated and overpaid.

As long as he turns up and performs on the pitch for UTD what he does off the pitch us not my concern unless it affects me directly which it doesnt
