Rough Finish To Painted Walls

Thanks for the reply, i just wondered if you'd had a job go wrong or something through lining fresh plaster as i've got a newly plastered room with papered feature wall to do at end of month.
I totally agree that sanding is the best route and only mentioned lining as the op seems daunted at the thought of the rubbing down which, as mentioned, wont be as bad as he thinks. Cheers.
