I recently had a rubber roof installed on a dormer I had built. I do not want to go into the drama that has been our loft conversion, but could do with some help on where to go next. The problem I am having is that the dormer falls back to the ridge.

This has meant that because the dormer finishes the same height as the ridge, I cannot bed ridge back on due to the rubber coating. Was told a dry ridge would work but the rain water will need to pass underneath to escape and my concern is obviously leaking where dry roof would be attached to the roof.

Any ideas would be welcome

Thanks for your responses. Already had the rubber roof lining put on. that would be the very last resort. The water flow is not a problem, it just now goes down the front. My concern is trying to get my ridge back on.

A dry ridge would allow the water to pass underneath, but it is attaching it through the rubber roof that is the problem. Dont want to end up with leaks where I attached the dry ridge.

Will try to post pics when I can
