I didn't get a demonstration of the system.
As for a PIR in the bathroom, the reason I was putting one in there is because this room is at the rear of the house and there is an extension with a low slopping roof which means anyone can walk straight up to the bathroom window. The window is different to the rest in that the opening window goes across the top and is smaller but some one will get through it.

As for a PIR in the bathroom,

MAke sure the PIR is suitable for reliable seervice use in high humidity.

Better to have no valuables in the bathroom and a door contact on the bathroom door.
