Salus Receiver (No lights on) (Ed.)

Tried that and boiler sounds like its kicking in then the dashes just fade :(, tbh the no heating issue only started when the receiver stopped lighting up)

The power to the thermostat, is usually fed from the programmer.
If the programmer has failed, the receiver would stay off.
If you feel confident enough can you show us the wiring behind the EP200, and we may be able to rule that out as the cause.

No problem, i shall do it tomorrow before work whilst its light so i don’t fall over stuff in the dark lol , will get back to you then, thank-you for helping me so far, very much appreciated :)

Not had chance to look at back of thermostat, however looked in the box with wires and noticed this one isn't connected

Ignore that for the moment - we are trying to follow a logical troubleshooting process.
If you can show us the wiring behind the programmer, we can try and bridge that out, to see if the receiver power is restored...

Ok will do that shortly, i’ve changed the reciever and still nothing so has to be to do with that! Or the wire if not

OK, again, with the power safely isolated, move the Blue wire in terminal 4, into the L terminal, along with the two other red wires.
With the power restored, if the Salus receiver then powers up, the problem is with the EP200.

Thankyou so much, heating now on! Looks like the Salus EP200 is fault, can’t say how much i appreciate your help :)
