Hello

Just had a new boiler installed and the installer fitted a Salus It500. I had a Honeywell single channel wireless room stat before that. Does the salus offer anything better than the Honeywell? I don't want internet.

I believe the boiler will modulate and condense irrespective of which controller is fitted as that's down to flow and return values, is that correct?

Also, is the boiler able to function without any room stat and instead use weather compensation ? It's a viessmann 111-w with opentherm and I believe it has WiFi built in too but not sure what that's for.

Edit should I just use vicare? Can I use that and the room stat at same time, as installer suggested it's either/or not both

Thanks
