is the cable for the FCU run from floor level, up or down from the ceiling? What purpose does the FCU serve?

IF that vanity unit is going to be exactly as shown with the tape then IMO it's too close to the loo, you will either have to keep your arms crossed or keep banging your elbow on the corner.

That was my instant thought (Don't ask why:censored::censored:) but then assumed the vanity unit and Saniflow enclosure are to be the same depth, which willsimply mean the toilet is close to the basin:?:

It depends if it's anything like:

Would that not be subject to if there is a shower or bath in the room and the 3 metre reg
... again, if the plug and socket were within the cabinet, would that not be out of zone?

If I had got out of bed on the wrong side one morning and found no milk in the fridge for my first coffee and then arrived to find a plug on the power cable then according to the MI`s I could reject any warranty claim within the UK.

Not that I ever did you understand.

Why don’t you just fit an FCU with a flex outlet lower down the wall and remove the FCU from up top?

I would say no otherwise you could build a tiny cabinet around a socket anywhere in the room.

Plus - 'out of zones' doesn't really apply to sockets. In case anyone doesn't know, they have to be >3m. from bath/shower.

Thank you, yes I see your point.
An FCU in a cabinet would probably be ok?
