We viewed a house we like and put an offer but not yet accepted. Doing our due dilligence in the meantime and found the following.

Sellers lived for 3 years and renovated a bit one thing they did was change a door in a load bearing wall (I assume load bearing as there is an outside wall above it). Would this change require Building Control Notice/Check? There is nothing in the public register.

See wall between kitchen and garden room/ utility.

Is this something to worry about (not being on BC)?. Should we bring this up during negotiation phase? Or wait for survey/solicitor if offer gets accepted?

Moderator has added spacing between the pictures to separate them.
Sorry there are 2 floor plans. Before and after.

Before its kitchen - garden room.
After its kitchen - utility room.

Note on the right side, the end of the house on the first floor is on top of the kitchen green room separation.

I wouldn't be that puturbed, if there are no cracks or anything and it was done at least a while ago then it's pretty safe to say whatever was done was done OK. BTW it's unlikely you'd see a Building Control application online.
