Scantronic pir disable?

Handymanjo - The strobe does work - but I noticed the two leds light in tandem, whereas previously they used to blink one then the other.

I cant do any testing today as I have to go to office, but can look again tmw.

Is there a suggestion as to an upgrade to the panel and keyboard keeping the existing PIR/SIREN wired units in place?

How do know it’s not the siren that’s faulty ?

oh - so I must be misunderstanding how the system works then. I now know if `i arm the system and walk into a PIR line the siren goes off. It does not go off if I use the EE door despite how long i wait before disarming. Normal practice is to ARM and leave within 30 seconds or so. On re-entry to disarm within 30-60 seconds., However I thought that the siren will sound if I dont disarm at the kybd. Pretty certain it did before, however there is also a PIR on the route from EE to the kybd so surely the siren should sound?

I know it sounds if i walk into the lounge or kitchen, so am I looking for a problem that doesnt exist?

Still don’t think you are leaving it long enough when you start the e/e timer….longest entry time on a 9448 is 60s …so it would be 60s + 30s …before the bell would ring …
