I'd support anyone in the world cup against Scotland.............. oh, apart from the fact they're too carp to even qualify
Good, I heard him say on TV, "I'm not English I'm a Scot." Never liked him from that day on.
or just carp at sports?avoiding the Eng v Scot argument, can i make a wider observation... why is it that us brits don't seem to have the b@lls to make it to the top in any sport? We are good at most sports because of the infrastructure and investment (we're good at that).
But when it comes to the crunch, in any sport, we don't have that cutting edge, killer instinct, that gives you that last ounce of strength, that the southern hemisphere nations, or any other country seem to muster.
Is it to do with our temperate climate, or our temperate nature?

Not many in that list currently doing much. Redgrave was carried to the last 2 golds (Pinsent was rowing for 2). Still good to get the first 3 though.
