Carlton was about 150,000 on the 2000cc cam in head engine that was used in Cavaliers, CFs, etc as well. Engine ran like new when scrapped with no noises or leaks and pulled like a train.
Scudo is on 108,000 at present. It's got the 2.0 Peugeot Citroen HDi engine, so good for at least double that.
I always change oil and filter at between 4 or 5 thousand because I'm doing lots of short town journeys. I keep on top of regular maintenance and my vehicles usually get scrapped or sold because of rust but the engines and other components will be in good order. Though the Scudo is very good on rust as it's the first vehicle I've had that had the body dipped in special electrolytic coating whatever when being made which stops rust spreading or getting a hold. Main body is mostly rust free - only the sills have needed a bit of attention recently. Amazed how rusty some Transits/Merc/VW vans can be of a similar vintage - guessing they weren't dipping the bodies at the factory 20 years ago.
