Yes, but even a small 3 to 4 cfm compressor is man enough to support a 16 or 18 ga gun. With the full head 1st fix nailer I mentioned above the small compressor I was using needed to cycle every 10 to 12 nails - annoying, but only mildly. The 1st fix gun has 4 to 5 times the air requirement of a 2nd fix gun
