Plumbing is for plumbers as is
heating as is repairing boilers .Until you understand how water works ,then changing a few ntc's and divertor valves doesn't constitute an engineer
Oh yes and the specialist descale of secondry heat exchangers,dont demean our trade Agile, we install and repair anything thats our job
Being able to repair a few cheap end budget boilers doesnt constitute anything special ,just another career changer who did not learn the whole trade in the proper manner!
The registration process was just another cash cow called corgi who make money out of plumbers for the pleasure of being able to work on gas.
Its rather unfortunate when you have to come on here to ask some very basic questions who most able diyers would be able to answer let alone a fully qualified plumber
