The water pipe from the road supplies two properties, but no meter or inspection chamber on the road, it is charged on rateable value.
The pipe is 1" class D black alkathene from the road to my mother's house and 3/4" from my mother's house to mine.
The new pipe will be 300m long, through an orchard and garden or another field.
My mother's old house is for sale and there is planning permission to extend it to five bedroom from three and to build a garage, so there will be increased usage
Additionally I have plans to erect a large shed which I may convert into accommodation.

So looking at getting the two properties separated.

I am cautious about contacting Bristol Water as they may demand separation within three months.
Not sure of the diameter MDPE but 32mm?
The pipe coils are 150m long so is an inspection chamber at the junction between each coil recommended?
What inspections do the water company do?
Check the pipe laid is at 750mm and the wire by the side of it?

Any advice on this process or corrections welcome

If they’re separate supplies I don’t see why the standard 25mm wouldn’t work. When I did one years ago, my local water undertaker (wasn’t Bristol water btw) checked the depth, it was on sufficient sand iirc, and that it’s ducted inside to out with relevant capping to prevent rodents. Not sure what wire you’re referring to.

This underground tracer wire is 1.5mm thick and comes in a 100mtr coil. Designed to accurately locate underground service cables and pipes, reducing the time spent finding them and preventing unnecessary third party damage. The wire is laid alongside the cables or pipes during installation to find them at a later date for safe digging.
Tracer Wire is one of the many accessories United Civils Supplies stock to complement our pipes, ducting and other products within the electrical, plumbing, drainage and gas sectors.
