No. I think if anything I based it on a similar extension I'd seen at some point:

Yea, that "extend the entire roof" nuclear approach was my first thought.. but then I got down to the "progress so far" pic and realised.. Unless youre doing a loft conversion too it's a lot of work for a comparatively small extension
The current bathroom is next to it, the box room at the back of the house is being split to form a new bathroom and corridor to access a new bedroom in a new rear extension, the small extension and old bathroom will be combined to form a new, reasonably sized bedroom.
