P.S. - I'll add some context to my comment... the most convenient way of setting and unsetting the system, by far, is key fob. The app is, well, it's a little clunky to say the least - they didn't employ good UI designers to work on this, that's for sure, and the way it communicates often means that you're stood outside (if you start the unset process just outside the front door, say as you're walking from your car) while it interfaces to the system via the Cloud. It's cumbersome and not convenient... it needs to be much slicker I feel. A home-screen Widget on an Android phone would go some way to improving the situation... where you have "set" and "unset" icons and can just click those, yes, keying in a code if it thinks you should.
(Thankfully you can save your App password and avoid keying that in along with the code - if you had to do both then it would be a real PITA).
At the moment, it's open the app, click on the property, wait for it to connect, wait for it to say connected, weirdly I think yo have to click on the property again at this point, then key in a code and then click on the padlock... then wait for confirmation. It's onerous to do. Especially if you are in a 3G area and your phone has not hooked-up up to your WiFi (it might be quicker if that is the case, I've not found out yet and I'm doubtful).
I still like it, though, don't get me wrong... I'm just a bit critical of the smartest bits. I understand if you don't have the Cloud functionality you'll not get alerts to your devices... possibly the biggest selling point for someone. I also understand, at least I think I do, that my system is basic and doesn't have, say, a camera streaming video.
