looks good but dont forget the roofing material in the height

also if the ground slopes slightly you measure from the highest point it covers

I overestimated for the roofing materials just to make sure of the height. :p

Fixings up next, screw counting fun times.

Joists held together by 3x4" nails at the ends. Joists held to skids by 3" angled nails (12 per horizontal joist).

2.5" nails attaching the floor to the joist frame. 8" spacing at the perimeter and 6" along the joins where possible.

4" nails hold the rest of the frame together, spaced 8" apart where attaching to floor.

Seems enough though possible 4 for the floor frame at the corners instead of 3 staggered down it?

i would opt for screws for the floor to allow alterations and replacement easier same with the cladding

i used a mixture off nails and screws [4" 3.5" 100mm and 90mm ]on the frames
basically though i had loads but finished up raiding the 10x3.5" after running out off nails and larger screws :p

That's a good plan, I'll switch them out for screws then. Forgot to add the cladding in that previous post, I'll do one with the OSB walls, cladding and fixings later on. Hopefully be able to get a rough costing for this tomorrow. :)

are you getting the timber from your local timber merchant or woodyard

if i was you get the cladding pressure treated costs about 20-25% more on the cladding but works out about 5% off total build cost

I work at a DIY shop so I get colleague discount and we can price match anything local so I can pick and choose everything myself. I'll check for the pressure treatment though.
