Yep, Brexit is biting and it’s starting to affect me personally now. I did the weekly shop at Sainsbury’s this morning and…..no garlic bread in the freezer aisle! They had baguettes and garlic pizza breads but no garlic bread slices. If only I’d have known all those years ago I might have had to rethink my vote in the referendum……….

Wife couldn't get salami on her last shop. Well disapointed!

We're now having a postal crisis around here. Loads of people have had no post for 3 weeks now. I've got parcels that are delayed 2 weeks now, although letters still coming through. Post Office is desperately trying to recruit more people, and pinching people from Ipswich and Colchester to cope, and starting the Christmas ovettime / agency period early. Crazy. Covid + Brexit + changes to processes and postie routes have made a mess of it!

But, at least there's salami!

Sadly those who joke about Brexit are too thick to realise the financial/social cost...

Of course those people are also too thick to understand the consequences for them and the generations to come...

And of course there are some that just don't care!

Did you only come here to call fellow forum members thick? Or are you talking about some other people we don't know?

Been here since 2004 without the usual multiple name changes that many do employ, so maybe they are the 'people we don't know'?

But hey, if the (your) hat fits then who am I to argue :)

I didn't mean to the forum, I meant to this thread.

Maybe lighten up a little?

F'kin first world problems ....

Can't get my garlic bread, can't get my salami...cheese...wine...whatever.

Come back when you can't get the very basic of foodstuffs.

One person moaning that we're joking too much, then the next moaning that we shouldn't even be mentioning it.

Tough crowd today.

It's one thing to say there are shortages in the shops of basic items, but to complain of a lack of items you can simply do without seems a bit OTT to me.

Since when weren't Brits allows to moan about lack of tasty snacks?

Is this what our country has come to - we're now being criticised for having a moan? FFS, things are worse than I thought.

Oh stop moaning. ;)

This is how it starts. Soon the thought police will be hunting down those that even moan to themselves about the system

Then somebody moaning about the thought police.
Where will it all end? ;)
