Show us your dogs.

That owner needs to be done for animal abuse! Walking isn't just about walking, all those smells etc are just as important for the dog's well-being.

I don't have a problem with people looking after their pets as one of the family, in fact, I would say that's how it should be for a domestic animal. But mollycoddling, putting dogs or cats in silly outfits etc, ugh.

I like dogs

Well not the 2 that have bitten me

And yes they are alright

Never owned a dog
The thought of you being bitten has got me chuckling. were they dogs in customers houses? How'd it happen?

I've heard people call their cats and dogs 'fur babies'. I think girls or boys is completely fine in comparison! :)
Was doing some work for a woman down the road, was getting on quite well with her till she introduced me to her 'baby'
a tiny fluffy black thing and cute however it was like the spawn of Satan dog from hell, getting inbetween us snarling and snapping anytime I so much as lifted a finger. I quickly lost interest in her

Thought you were going to say "getting on quite well until I drilled through a pipe" or something...!

I dislike people who call animals their babies. I especially dislike people who think that them owning young animals is comparable to having babies/ young children.
Well, we don’t call them our babies but owning a dog is comparable to having a small child. You take on a responsibility to care for it for the whole of its life and we plan our jobs, working days and holidays around our dog. At this very moment I’m on holiday with my wife, 8 friends and 7 dogs. If we couldn’t take our pooch away with us or couldn’t get our dog owning friend to look after her, we wouldn’t go on holiday. Many non-dog owners just wouldn’t understand.

Such is our commitment to our dogs as members of our families, that unless we can take them too - there is no holiday.

Is that because you don’t have any friends?
Should this thread be 'show us how catty you can be'?! :)

My partner and I go on separate holidays if we go away, so someone is home to look after the animals. It is a commitment taking them on and I don't think some people realise what a bind animals can be.

Maybe you’ll be the same as us. We got a dog when our kids left home and there comes a point when you are too old to have some more. House seemed too empty.

Or you really c*ck it up and buy a dog, think it’s as demanding as having kids, then have kids, realise it’s not the same as buying a dog, totally neglect the dog, and spend all your time trying to stop the dog and kids winding each other up.
Wouldn’t have it any other way tho (y)

So, tasteful outfits are okay? That’s good. :D
