Shower Advice

Hi All,

I need some advice about install a new thermostatic mixer shower. I have just found out that my hot water systems is gravity fed and filled from the cold water tank in the loft. The cold water however to all the taps in the house comes from the mains.

Would the best solution be to run a separate feed from the cold water tank to the new shower so that both the cold water and the hot water are at equal pressures??

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yes keep the pressures equal.

As above....and do use 22mm pipe if you can.

As above....and make sure the shower is suitable for the head of water available which will be low pressure.
