Did some checks (sad! ). As well as also sharing the name with a Welsh rugby union player he was, apparently, just a promoter of WD40. The inventor of the water dispersant (at least I got that one right) seems to have been one Norm Larsen in 1953! Semi-duff info supplied by someone else & just goes to prove you need to check for yourself as you can’t believe anyone these days!
