A right head scratcher for me anyway.
Both my upstairs & downstairs toilets need to be 'pumped' to acheive a flush & both showers lose pressure after around 3 minutes!! Given I live in a relatively new build house (5 or so years old) &The water coming out of the tap is still full on(pressure). I've looked at the pipes & the showers have seperate feeds out of my hot water tank. Any idea's to help me solve this would be greatly appreciated.

WC siphons are worn out. Already

Check the cold tank in the loft is filling ok

For the toilets, consider a Flapper Valve. They are incredibly simple and have almost nothing to wear out or go wrong. They give a good flush and are very quiet. Sadly you need to take the cistern off to fit them.

However you do need to have the operating handle on the front of the cistern. If it is on the short end get a press-button flusher

I don't like syphons :(

Thanks for the replies. I was all geared up to tackle this 'at the weekend' when the mother in law comes & baby sits & what do you know gets a plumber round who sorts them out (at a cost)
Still no idea's with the shower though??!?! Any thoughts?
