I Live in a 1st floor maisonette with the combi boiler in a cupboard in the living room with my bathroom directly above.

The hot water pressure has always been good. As we have no power shower fitted we have always used a shower mixer to use as a shower

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8331836/Trail/searchtext>SHOWER+MIXER.htm

if im honest the pressure has been so good it shoots extremely hot water all the way to the other side of the bath and half way up the wall.lol

Because of this I decided to go and buy a mixer tap/shower

http://www.diy.com/nav/rooms/bathro...pal/Plumbsure-Opal-Bath-Shower-Mixer-11477549

after fitting this the hot water pressure has all but disappeared???

The tap mixer I have bought has the H tap on the left hand side, however my hot water tap is on the right hand side of my bath??? would this make a difference??

Whats the pressure / volume like on the running bath position?
There shouldn't be any problem due to incorrect connection, but this is undesirable of course.
John :)

You replaced a high pressure model [for combi's] with a low pressure model [see small print in details] so it's incompatible.
