Shower tray cracked and redoing the installation

OP,
I dont follow 1. why you drilled the rim of the shower tray 2. or some of the other things you mention?
Maybe my experience isn't wide enough in bathroom fitting but I've never had to drill Acrylic(?) kinds of tray?
Whatever, thats the past but surely your new tray will be from a different Mfr?

I didn't do the work.

The trim at the bottom which the glass fits into has two floating brackets and these do screw into the tray. On the 6mm variant the brackets are different with no option.

That the crack is still propagating indicates a problem under the tray, i.e the bed isn't level somehow. I'll know when I take the tray out.

I'm buying a more established tray brand this time not that I think the tray was the problem.

OP,
Thank you for the reply. Perhaps, as you disassemble the enclosure & lift the tray you will post pics?
